Callister Raynes was an A. He had begun a romantic relationship with Jo Lupo and worked as an assistant to Nathan. Nathan had burnt down his office to protect Callister from being discovered. However, Callister was the main suspect in the apparent arson, and after Sheriff Cobb started asking a bunch of questions that would reveal the truth, Nathan had to send Callister away. He arrived in Cafe Diem, where Douglas Fargo saw and took a picture of him before running off to Nathan Stark and interrupting him during a meeting.

When he interrupts him, Nathan says, “I swear to god Fargo, the world better be on fire. She goes up to him and kisses him because he came back, but then punches him for leaving.

Yesterday’s Eureka was quite literally its most batshit ever, as super-charged, ultra-acidic bat guano almost killed the show’s most adorable couple: the robotic Deputy Andy, and Carter’s smart house S. Love between AI has never been so almost tragic. The official photographs have been taken although, considering this is presumably a top-secret mission, I’m guessing those won’t be hanging anywhere beyond Cafe Diem , Henry’s wife Dr.

Grace Monroe has been named the mission’s Captain which is a rank that kind of awesomely owes more to science fiction than NASA – in the “real” world, she’d probably be Commander , and everyone’s favorite animal-loving Australian lunatic, Dr. Jim Taggart, is back in town with some Titan-ready critters. Of course, one or two things go spectacularly wrong.

Exploring the Secrets of Eureka. We visit the set of Season 2 and talk to the cast. One of the highlights of this visit was a stop at the set of Eureka , the SCI FI hit that is returning this month for a second season. We were given a comprehensive tour of the sets, including the Cafe Diem, which was in an interesting state, as it was going to be the scene of a large stunt and special effects piece later in the day.

Air cannons had been set up to shoot food, debris and garbage through the diner, as part of a storyline involving some bizarre weather going on in the town. The sequence would also involve stuntmen hurtling forward, as a huge blast of wind shoots into them, though unfortunately, we weren’t able to see the sequence being filmed. Both sets were highly detailed, and it was very fun to walk around and explore the tools in Henry’s garage or the pictures on the Sheriff’s office wall, which included “wanted” photos made up of pictures of Eureka crew members.

With the help of crucial Eureka crew members, Grayston showed us all of the off-camera tricks that make the house work, as we learned that it takes a lot of men working hard pulling levers and ropes on the outside of the set to make Jack’s refrigerator or sink seem to oh-so-effortlessly flip around for Jack to use. We were also taken to a brand new set for Season 2 , and it was a jaw-dropper. This set was the new one built to portray Global Dynamics, replacing the smaller version seen in Season 1.

The set was truly incredible; it was huge and filled with several rounding corridors and stairways that completely sold the illusion that it simply went on and on. Unlike many sets, where the first and second floors of buildings are actually not connected at all, the Global Dynamics set has a second story you can actually walk up to.

Lupo is no longer a deputy replaced by the robotic Andy but the head of GD 59 Jo Well,It ‘s a crop, and there is a circle in it. His appearance in the series was his second to last onscreen to date March

The following is a list of episodes of the American science fiction television drama Eureka. Seventy-seven episodes were aired over five seasons. In addition to these episodes, there is a short webisode series called “Hide and Seek”, which was available on Syfy ‘s Eureka homepage. The episodes of the first season were not aired in the order intended by the show’s creators, resulting in small inconsistencies.

However, these were supervised and controlled. In podcast commentaries, the show’s creators and its star Colin Ferguson confirmed that the production order was that in which the producers intended. However, network executives changed the order to try to place the stronger episodes earlier in the run to attract viewers. The creators were able to make minor changes through edits and they redubbed dialogue in later episodes for instance, they removed the explicit mention of Zoe’s first day at school to minimize audience confusion.

Season three production was interrupted and delayed by the —08 Writers Guild of America strike.

Not only is there a new sheriff in town, but he’s a robot. Welcome Back Carter is one of the smartest, most charming episodes of Eureka to date. but the ep gives Erica Cerra [Deputy Jo Lupo] a chance to show her stuff in.

Eureka “Family Reunion” Review. A thaw in cryogenics reveals the grandfather Fargo thought had run out on the family fifty years before. It’s not the most original idea, having been done in at least one best left forgotten instance in the Mel Gibson and Jamie Lee Curtis vehicle Forever Young. Here however, they manage to rework it perfectly to fit right into Eureka and even have it affect some of the core mythology of the show.

The series is also doing a bit of “geek empowerment” through Fargo. Last week he gained confidence when he learned that Jo had a dream about him, and this week he finds out that he was wrong about his grandfather. Not only did his grandfather not run out on his grandmother, but turns out he’s the real “Einstein of Eureka” and his research was stolen.

The storyline also goes a ways towards deepening the history of Eureka and dropping lines like “We went to the moon in , but didn’t go public until There are some nice moments here as Carter remains angry with Allison because she lied to him in the previous episode. When Alison tries to force Carter to get over it, he explains that he will, just not yet.

Stark is considerably less concerned with how Carter feels, but when Carter dares question Eureka’s “greatest mind,” he explains to Allison and Stark that “I believe when someone is responsible for something, they should be held accountable. She did win a car a couple of episodes ago, and she passed her drivers test, but Carter is making her quit caffeine for a week before he allows her to drive.

Zoe, unable to give up the juice, keeps trying to sneak some and getting caught. It’s never quite clear why Carter wants her to stop drinking caffeine, until Zoe researches the name of a woman that Carter buys flowers for.

By Zenoxen Watch. It was late at night when Nathan Stark walked into the 14F storage facility, in the outskirts of the town known as Eureka, in Oregon, and turned the lights on. The entire place was like a freak show: human body parts laying around, sometimes full bodies, although a close inspection would reveal these to be made of metal and cyber skin, surgical material, operation chairs with head restraints, machinery for fabrication of printed circuit boards and other parts

If there isn’t a term for that, I nominate “pulling a Eureka ” because that’s he has to handle killer robots, freak climate changes, a new sun that pops up in and transports Carter, his deputy Jo Lupo (Erica Cerra), Global Dynamics Lupo in now the head of security at GD, but she never started dating her.

During her time as deputy, she always had a weapon with her, and went armed even in situations where weaponry is unnecessary. She also traveled almost everywhere in body armor. After a space-time bridge sent her and four other people to , they returned to the present to find many things had changed. Amongst the changes was that Lupo had taken a job as the head of security for Global Dynamics. She has a love of weapons, and has a varied and powerful collection stored in the station, including several handguns , shotguns , sniper rifles , and assault rifles.

She is also unusually strong for her size as she can manhandle Jack Carter with ease. The residents of the town and their odd experiments try her patience, but those few moments where she gets to shoot something seem to make it worth it. The residents themselves know and trust Jo, despite her blustering. Her personal life, however, leaves something to be desired.
